The readings and lecture topic for this week are:
Recording Priorities of the Sound Mixer and the Hierarchy of Mic Techniques

Last week we looked at the structure and roles of the sound crew, equipment planning, and financial aspects/working conditions. So this week we will look at the recording "goals" of the mixer on the set (dialogue, perspective, FX, RT, etc.) along with the tools at our disposal to do that.

The following week we will go over how to use a mixing panel; and the week after that, we will begin shooting scenes in class!
